67-year-old Kingston pilot dies following plane crash outside Sussex
RCMP have announced that a 67-year-old man from Kingston, NB, has died following a plane crash in Wards Creek outside Sussex Wednesday night.
On July 3, shortly before 6:45pm, the Sussex RCMP responded to a report of a plane crash at private airstrip near Marshall Hill Road in Wards Creek. The pilot and lone occupant of the plane died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The plane was a small personal aircraft owned by the pilot.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is being conducted by the Transportation Safety Board.
