How to dispose of your Christmas tree this month in the tri-community!

It’s that time of year — if you haven’t yet taken down the tree, or are unsure what how to dispose of that dead tree you chucked in your backyard — look no further!

When you can leave your tree at the curb? Where can you drop off your tree if you’ve missed the deadline?

Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview: Leave trees at the curb (and easily accessible) during your regular garbage day this week (week of January 6th)

  • In Dieppe, trees must be placed out at curb no later than 4am on your regular garbage day; if set out after 4am, your tree may not be picked up
  • Trees must be free of tinsel/ornaments and not frozen to the ground to ensure pickup

Tree drop-off locations in Moncton (until January 31):

  • Mapleton Park (Gorge Road)
  • Crossman Community Centre
  • Crowley Farm Road (ballfield)
  • Moncton Coliseum Parking Lot
  • Former Dud James Arena parking lot
