RCMP investigating armed convenience store robbery in Moncton

RCMP are interesting an armed robbery that took place at the Needs Convenience store on Morton Avenue Sunday night, February 3.

At approximately 9 p.m., a male suspect entered the store and demanded money from the employee. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash before police arrived.

The New Brunswick RCMP’s Police Dog Services were called and a perimeter was set up, however, the suspect was not located.

The man is described as being six feet (183 centimetres) tall with a mid to heavy set build. He was wearing a dark, hooded jacket at the time of the incident.
