UPDATE: Additional charges laid after Moncton man flees scene of two traffic accidents
Southeast District RCMP have laid additional charges against 34-year-old Mathieu Joseph Paul Leger, of Moncton, after fleeing two separate vehicle collisions that happened between Cocagne & Lakeview Sunday afternoon.
On June 30, 2019, around 4:50pm, Southeast District RCMP were called to the scene of a collision near the Cocagne Marina. A car had rear-ended another vehicle before fleeing the scene. The driver of the second vehicle was able to provide a licence plate number and description to police.
About 15 minutes later, police received a report of a second collision involving a car of the same description, this time on Highway 15 near Lakeview.
