Personal Debt Increasing in New Brunswick
New Brunswickers are going further into debt. A report by Equifax Canada says Canadians as a whole average 21-thousand-dollars of consumer debt – which all debt not including mortgages. That number is even higher in New Brunswick, with people in this province averaging 22-thousand-five-hundred-dollars of consumer debt. That represents an increase of 5.1-per-cent in personal debt, the highest increase in the country.
