Shooting range warns off would-be hunters
A Local shooting range is warning would be hunters gearing up for the season not to trespass on the site. Management of the Moncton Fish and Game Association Range told the Times and Transcript that they’re asking conservation officers to stop and question anyone they see parked near the range. Hunters routinely use the range to sight-in their rifles but are required to become members, which includes firearm safety training. Mangement says the large numbers using the crown-land range illegally at this time of year can create a safety issue.
