Man Charged with Killing his Father near Edmunston

A 22-year-old man had been charged with killing his father near Edmundston. Johnny Albert of Baker Brook was charged with first degree murder on Friday in the death of his father, 46-year-old Gordon Albert. Gordon Albert’s body was discovered outside a cottage on Richard Road in Baker Brook on Friday morning. Johnny Albert appeared in provincial court in Edmundston on Friday and will remain in custody until his next court appearance on Thursday.
