Arson in church fire

The Mounties are investigating a fire at the St. Bartholomew’s Roman Catholic Church in Bass River.

They responded to a call regarding a fire in the church Tuesday morning. Damage to the church on Route 116 was extensive. Police are asking the public for help in identifying those responsible.
