Some vets complaining about treatment by Ottawa

A lawyer for Canadian veterans battling Ottawa over pensions is accusing the Veterans Affairs Department of playing politics with his clients.

Don Sorochan says the Minister Kent Hehr is not standing by the Liberals campaign promise to re-establish lifelong pensions for veterans. Hehr says the government is moving forward as quickly as it can.
