On the diamonds…the Blue Jays lost 5-3 to the Yankees but are still a game ahead of the Red Sox who lost 2-1 to San Diego.

On the gridirons…the Ti-Cats roared back to beat the Argos 49-36.  The Stampeders won their ninth in a row beating Edmonton 45-24.
