More Charges for Tracadie Man Accused of Kidnapping Boy

R-C-M-P have laid more charges against an elderly man who allegedly kidnapped a young neighbour in an urban area of Sheila, New Brunswick. The 71-year-old man, who isn’t being named to protect the boy’s identity, has now been charged with abduction of a person under the age of 14 and forcible confinement. He had earlier been charged with kidnapping and assault. Police say the boy fled the house of a neighbour who allegedly lured the child from his backyard while he was riding his bike.
