Specialist team to help strengthen regional honey bee population

A new specialist team will focus on strengthening the Atlantic Canadian honey bee population. The Atlantic Tech Transfer Team for Apiculture is based at Perennia Food and Agriculture, and will work with the bee and blueberry industries to review and customize practices. Over $400,000 combined is being put in by the federal government, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI and various industry organizations.
