Different report cards for students this year
Report cards will look different when they come home this year in the Anglophone East School District. The Times and Transcript reports they are moving from letter grades to a numbered system.
Officials will be graded from 1-4. A grade of 4 means the student is excelling in that subject. A 3 means they are meeting expectations in understanding the subject. 2 means they are approaching understanding but need support. The lowest grade is 1 meaning the student has limited understanding and is struggling.
The comment section of the report card will be much larger so teachers can provide a better understanding of the student’s learning habits.
