NB population growing sharply

New Brunswicks population has grown in the last year….first time in four years.

The increase is mainly because of a huge influx of international immigrants, especially the Syrian Refugees.

The population on Canada Day was 756,780 an incease of more than 2,700 from a year previously.  Net immigration was up 5,069 people…a record.
