Three taken to hospital from downtown fire

Three people were taken to hospital early yesterday morning after a fire in a downtown apartment.

The fire department says a man fell asleep in a recliner while smoking in the apartment on Campbell Street.  He and two others from the apartment were taken to hospital and treated for smoke inhalation.  There was mainly smoke damage and the recliner was destroyed.
