Mt. A gets Colville studio

Mount Allison University has received a major gift from the family of renowned artist Alex Colville.

Colville’s studio has been donated to the Sackville school and will be permanently housed at Colville House on campus. It includes Colville’s paints, brushes, easels, work tables, and other materials.

Colville lived in Sackville for more than 30 years as a student and a teacher at Mount Allison, and then as a full-time artist.
