Creepy clowns

Several communities have experienced the latest internet phenomenon…creepy clowns.

People dress up in scary clown outfits with grotesque masks or makeup and jump out at people to scare them.

RCMP are investigating a number of incidents, saying they are taking them seriously and investigating on a one by one basis.

People could face mischief charges or even assault if they try to grab at someone.
