City of Moncton to Expropriate Land near Magnetic Hill

The City of Moncton plans to take over ownership of a property that provides access to the Magnetic Hill Concert venue. According to Times and Tribune, the City had been previously been working under an agreement with the private landowner to use the property on Gorge Road as service access route for the concert site. However, the City of Moncton has now deemed the property essential for emergency planning at the concert venue and plans to expropriate the land and compensate the current owner.
