NB Inflation Rate Second Highest in Canada in September

New Brunswick had the second-highest annual inflation rate in Canada last month, trailing only Newfoundland and Labrador. Stats Can says the inflation rate hit 3% in New Brunswick, almost triple the national rate of 1.3%. Nova Scotia’s rate was 1.6% while PEI’s was 0.9% Stats Can saying high gas prices had a bigger impact in the region because of a US pipeline disruption.
