Excavator should be gone soon

They’re almost ready to remove that excavator that fell through the French Village covered bridge on Route 860 three weeks ago.

Temporary supports have been added secured underneath the bridge but there’s no word just when they will try to pull the excavator out of the way. There’s also no word when the bridge deck repairs will be finished and the century old structure reopened.
