Arrest made after Shediac standoff

A man has been arrested after a 10-hour standoff in Shediac.  RCMP were called to a gazebo on fire Saturday around noon, one that was also on fire the night before.  A man with an apparent knife barricaded himself in a Bellevue Heights home, but ultimately surrendered peacefully.  He’s due in court today.
