Moncton RCMP asking for public’s help in identifying armed robbery suspect
“The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s help to identify an individual involved in an armed robbery at a convenience store in Moncton.
On August 19, 2020, shortly after 7:30am, police responded to a report of an armed robbery that occurred at the Cedar’s Convenience store on Cedar Street.
A male suspect entered the store with a weapon and demanded cash from an employee. He left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as being between five feet seven inches (170cm) and five feet nine inches (175cm) tall, with a skinny build. He was wearing a red Mickey Mouse hooded sweater, grey jogging pants, black and white sneakers and black gloves with a white logo on them.
Anyone who recognizes the individual, or with information about this incident is asked to contact the Codiac RCMP detachment at 506-857-2400.
