Province investing in trucking industry

$200,000 in provincial funding has been committed for the province’s trucking industry.  Reps from across Atlantic Canada gathered in Miramichi yesterday to talk about a new strategy for addressing its labour shortage.  Hundreds of jobs are open in New Brunswick, and a Conference Board of Canada study says the country period will need 30,000 replacement drivers by 2024.
