European trade deal a go

Trade Minister Chrystia Freeland is cautiously optimistic with a breakthrough in the stalled free trade deal with Europe.

Belgium announced yesterday it had an agreement with a holdout region to allow the pact to go through. Freeland called it a positive development but also pointed out every trade agreement has exit provisions. The Prime Minister is waiting for details on a new date for the signing summitt.
