Bus and sewer money

Ottawa and the province have announced $176 million for clean water and transit infrastructure projects.

The Gallant Government has an initial list of 47 projects already approved under the clean water and wastewater fund.

There’s money for eight new buses for the Codiac Transpo fleet.  There’ll be a lot of sewer work including $1.3 million for renewing sewers at Queen and Lewis streets downtown.  About $700,000 was set aside for a naturalized wet pond near Shediac Road.

Riverview is getting $1.1 million worth of water main and storm sewer work and Dieppe will see $1.5 million.
