The new Downing Street opens today in downtown Moncton.

The Times and Transcript reports the street has been rebuilt to remove barriers and divide the space into a sidewalk, parking spaces and street with coloured stones. It can also be easily closed off now for public events. There’s also a new sidewal creating a path to the riverfront.
