One man was taken to hospital after a gas line ruptured yesterday.

The construction worker was working on Oakland Avenue at Lorne Street when there was a break in the gas line. Several homes in the area were evacuated for awhile as a precaution. Enbridge gas says natural gas dissipates quickly and there was no major health or safety concern.
