Come to the YMCA of Greater Moncton’s 9th annual Healthy Kids Day & Open House!
Get ready for family fun! From 10am to 1pm Saturday, June 15th, the YMCA of Greater Moncton is hosting their 9th annual Healthy Kids Day & Open House! There will be TONS of free activities indoors and outdoors the Y, located at 30 War Veterans Ave., and a free barbeque.
When children arrive at Healthy Kids Day and register, they will receive a map of various stations they can visit as well as a ‘passport’ to have stamped. When the passport is complete, they can enter a draw for prizes. The first 500 children to register will receive a YMCA tote bag. Other giveaways will take place throughout the event.
There will also be an all-day Open House, with their facilities open to the public free of charge from 7am to 8pm on June 15th. Non-members will be welcome to try group fitness classes, use equipment in the Fitness Centre, make use of the Y’s three pools and tour the facility (a government-issued photo ID will be required for non-members).
NOTE: Pool closed at 1pm Saturday until June 24 for annual maintenance
