That’s why Lions started the Lions Recycle for Sight program! The Shediac Lions Club is hosting an Eyeglasses Drive from now until May 31st. Drop off any eyeglasses\, sunglasses or unopened contacts to one of their partners: Acadie Optometry Clinic\, Dr. Jean Daigle’s Clinic\, Vogue Optical or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 33 in Shediac. DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, May 31st is Tim Hortons Camp Day! This annual event will help raise money to send youth from low- income families in our community go to camp. On Camp day\, every penny from coffee sales during the 24 hour period\, as well as money raised through Camp Day bracelet sales\, donations\, special events and activities\, is donated to the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation. Last year\, they raised over $13.1 million! \nPlease note that only hot coffee sales will be donated. \n \n
