DESCRIPTION:This year’s Moncton Wake Up Call breakfast is happening on Friday\, October 19th at the Delta Beausejour\, 750 Main St.  to raise money for a disease that affects one in seven New Brunswick men and their families. The Wake Up Call breakfast is a unique opportunity to support the fight against prostate cancer\, the most common cancer to affect Canadian men. Registration and the coffee reception will be held from 7-7:30am and the breakfast will be from 7:30-8:50am. This year’s key note speaker will be Doctor Marc Savoie with the Georges L. SUMMARY:Legs for Literacy
DESCRIPTION:Legs for Literacy will be happening from October 19-21 with the kick off to Race Weekend with the Running Room’s 3km Friendship Run (Free) on Friday\, October 19th at 300 Main Street. Next the Family Run Walk (1km and 2km) will start from Downing Street on Saturday\, October 20th for children ages 0-13 years and their family members. All kids will receive a race bib\, medal\, snacks and may pick up a book at the Expo. Athletics NB Run Jump Throw Wheel activities will take place following the races. \nOn Sunday\, October 21st will be Race Day which will feature a 5k\, 10k\, half marathon\, full marathon and team relay with new routes starting and finishing on Canada Street\, in front of the Avenir Centre. \nRegistration is now open at Race Roster.
