DESCRIPTION:Paddles up for the Greater Moncton Dragon Boat Festival\, returning to Jones Lake this Friday & Saturday\, June 2nd & 3rd!! \nThe Greater Moncton Dragon Boat Festival is the principal fundraiser for the Lions Sick Children’s Fund\, supporting children and families throughout the tri-community. Each year\, teams from local high schools\, businesses\, community groups\, and neighbourhoods are challenged to come together to raise money for this worthy cause. What is unique about our festival is that teams can also designate 40% of the funds they raise to a charity of their own choice! The Sussex Fish & Game Association are excited to be hosting their annual Cassidy Lake Fishing Derby this year! \nBring the family out to Cassidy Lake (just outside Sussex)\, enjoy a great breakfast & day out fishing on the water — try your hand at catching the largest pickerel and maybe you’ll even win a prize! \nBreakfast will be served onsite & prizes include a Kayak door prize supplied by Irving Woodlands! \nOnsite registration starts at 7:30am. Final horn/call at noon. \n\nAdults $20\nYouth $10\nFamily $40\n\nAll safety protocols as issued by the province and federal departments must be followed.
