Walk of Hope

September is Ovarian Cancer awareness month and the 2016 Ovarian Cancer Walk Of Hope takes place Sunday, September 11th at the Chocolate River Station.  New to this year’s event is a 5K fun run.  Registration begins at 8:30am with opening ceremonies at 9am.  This family-friendly event raises vital funds to provide support and raise awareness and fund much needed research in to prevention,  improve treatments and ultimately a cure.  For more info visit OvarianCanada.org.  Proudly sponsored by K94.5.

Legs for Literacy

Lace up for the 17th annual IGT Legs for Literacy October 22nd and 23rd in downtown Moncton.  Since 2000 IGT Legs for Literacy has grown in to the largest running event in New Brunswick.  There’s a kids fun run on the 22nd which encourages kids at the elementary and middle school levels to make healthy physical activity a part of their daily routine and 4 race distances to choose from for race day on the 23rd.  For more info and to register check out…

Spring 2 Action 2019: 7th annual Walk/Run for the Homeless

Harvest House Atlantic is having a 7th annual Walk/Run for the Homeless! There is are 2km or 5km walks or a 5km run available. Participants are encouraged to raise sponsorship pledges through family, friends, co-workers etc. All proceeds raised go directly to services which help feed, clothe and house those in need. Your support also helps people struggling with homelessness find a path forward through housing, schooling (GED) and sustainable employment, thus reducing the homelessness rate in our community.
