Since 1999, Able Sail/Handi-Voile has organized a race in memory of Gordon McRae, the first disabled person to benefit from the recreational sailing program. This is a white sail race with boats from both the Pointe-du-Chêne Yacht Club and the Shediac Bay Marina participating. Come out and enjoy the boats as they start their race at 1pm, and get your tickets for the big breakfast before they're all gone (limited tickets available). Jeszyka's Ice Cream 1st Annual Charity Car Show will be taking place on Saturday, August 17th @ 1643 Shediac Rd from 10am-7pm. BBQ will be from 12pm-2pm with a silent auction on site. All donations go towards buying a new wheelchair for Brent Daborn.
