Shades of Autumn Fashion Show
The St. John's Baptist Anglican Church will be having a charity Fashion Show, "Shades of Autumn" on Monday, October 29th at 7pm, 28 Woolridge St. in Riverview. There will also be a dessert party, musical entertainment plus prizes. Cost is $15 per person and can be purchased by calling 386-6572, 382-1931 or 386-3025. All proceeds go back to the church.

St. John's UCW Bazaar and Luncheon will be held on Saturday, November 3rd from 11am-2pm at 75 Alma St. Cost is $8 for the luncheon which will be served from 11:30am-1:30pm. It includes your choice of corn chowder, chili or chicken soup plus roll & beverage. There will also be crafts, baking, new-to-you treasures, jewelry & much more! Come out for a fun filled day!

A fundraiser is being held on Saturday, November 3rd at the First Baptist Church, 157 Queen St at 6:30pm in benefit of the Scottish Rite Dyslexia Learning Centre of Moncton. Featured performers will be Ivan & Vivian Hicks with the Sussex Avenue Fiddlers, Samantha Robichaud and the Plucky Pizzicators, Gentlemen of Harmony and Gale Force. Cost of admission is a free will offering.

The City of Dieppe, in collaboration with the Dieppe Military Veterans Association, will be holding a ceremony on Sunday, November 11 at École Mathieu-Martin (511 Champlain Street) to commemorate Remembrance Day. The parade, made up of veterans, cadets and members of the RCMP, will form up at 10:30 a.m. and will make its way indoors for the ceremony that commemorates the signing of the Armistice, formalizing the end of World War I in 1918.
