Remembrance Day Ceremony – Dieppe
The City of Dieppe, in collaboration with the Dieppe Military Veterans Association, will be holding a ceremony on Sunday, November 11 at École Mathieu-Martin (511 Champlain Street) to commemorate Remembrance Day. The parade, made up of veterans, cadets and members of the RCMP, will form up at 10:30 a.m. and will make its way indoors for the ceremony that commemorates the signing of the Armistice, formalizing the end of World War I in 1918. The Salisbury Lions Club, 63 Peter St., will be having an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on Saturday, November 17th from 7-10am. Menu consists of pancakes, sausages, pure maple syrup, donuts, muffins, coffee, tea and juice. Cost is $8 for Adults, $3 for Children ages 6-10 and FREE for Pre-School. All proceeds for community work.

Take Action on Radon is inviting Moncton residents to a free Public Information Session on Radon on Thursday, November 22nd at 7pm at the Crossman Community Center (99 Wynwood Drive). Radon is a naturally occurring and cancer-causing radioactive gas found in houses. The first 100 people there can get a free long-term radon test.
